There were 9 days of havans for various Dev Devtas, and on 10 th day, the idol of Swami Samartha, weighing 1200 kgs, made in Jaipur in Marble, was brought from Mhasala to Mathh in a grand ceremony. On 27 November 2003, Rashi Nakshatra Udyan was inaugurated.Īfter 7 years from buying the land, on 28 st April 2008, Swami Mandir in all its glory and form was inaugurated. While it was no easy walk, the obstacles were overcome and paths made, Swami Mandir and other projects started taking shape.
Still, by Swamiji’s grace, the work progressed step by step. Shripad Vallabha stayed in Kurupuram much of his life. Some of the noted holy places that Sripada Srivallabha visited during his lifetime are -Varanasi (Kashi), Badarikashram, Gokarna, Srisailam and Kuravapura. There was no water source nearby, no electricity, no big towns on both sides in nearby vicinity. &0183 &32 Sripada Srivallabha took sanyas at the age of 16 years, and lived in his physical form only until the age of 30. The entire place was filled completely by trees, almost all ground was unleveled. The decision of this place was taken then and there. When Kakaji first reached here, he saw Swamiji standing on a stone. During this course, people keep on joining, and to have everything organized and in order, Om Swami Samartha Sadhana Kendra was founded in Pune, and registered as trust.Īfter a lot of searching for places, Kakaji finally settled on this place situated in Parshuram’s sacred Konkan. By the guidance of Swami Samartha himself, Kakaji planned this mathh. In 1982, he turned to Swami Marga by Guru mother Agasti Aai, who was a great authority in Swami Marga. His name in Nath Sampradaya is ‘Shri Ganesh Nathji’. Shri Deepak Dattatray Joshi, fondly called as Joshikaka by his followers, hails from Siddhatek but now settled in Pune for a long time.
